A few weeks ago I was back in big B for the birthday party of the year! My day started early, but I was so happy to be in the capital again together with my friend <3 So I packed a suitcase and hurried to the train. Looking forward to tonights evening program I turned on the song Smells like teen spirit from one of my favorite bands ever; Nirvana. As a teenager I was so addicted to all of their songs and decorated my room with Kurt Cobain posters. And tonight promised me a flashback to their decade.
My time traveling to the 90’s started already in the train and as it could not be more fitting the birthday party of REVIEW fashion had this theme: trashy 90s music from Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys and even Spice Girls. I want it that way! It was so funny to see all the happy people who were in a total dance mood. Anyone who knows the 90’s or has ever been to a 90’s party knows that it’s really hard to keep your knees steady. Am I right? I barely saw a party which was so lovingly decorated as it was this one. Old radios, posters, music videos and sweets that brought my childhood back: cotton candy chewing gum, hundreds and thousands & dextrose watches. For making it even more perfect vegan hotdogs and yummy cocktails made my evening 😀 It felt so good to celebrate the whole night with the prettiest and loveliest people around. Even though we hadn’t had the most healthy candies when we were young, I have to admit that they remind me of better days (F**k you Donald Trump!). And I really enjoyed browsing the premises with a friend of mine, because Girls just wanna have fun!. So if you have some childhood memories from the good old 90’s like rollerblades, crazy hair and fashion styles oder even better some songs, leave me a comment! XOXO
REVIEW fashion gave us a once-over to their new collection which is heavenly!
Although I was just two days in Berlin, I nearly felt like being home. Seeing old friends and making new ones is definitely the best thing on social media.
Thank you so much, dear REVIEW-team for having me <3
